Erin Mae Miller
Erin Mae Miller is a Nashville based film and TV producer by way of NYC. Miller has produced and managed productions for over a decade, most recently producing IDENTITY CRISIS – a scripted feature set to release fall of 2022. Miller joined Third Coast Content in January of 2020 as Creative Development Executive. TCC recently sold On the Line to Netflix, a film starring Dennis Quaid, and is in production on a documentary about the Christian hip hop movement, which Miller is producing. Among other things, TCC is in development on a limited series with Cate Blanchett, a film about Charley Pride with Craig Brewer, and a limited series with showrunner Dan O’Keefe. From 2016 – 2018, Miller worked with Amazon Original Movies, overseeing the production and delivery of 5 original films as an executive with Big Indie Pictures (Manchester By The Sea, Captain Fantastic).
Miller has a long history in non-fiction television, managing and producing shows for PBS, VH1, E!, History, Discovery, OWN, and TLC. Miller’s documentary Work and Happiness: The Human Cost of Welfare, produced and directed by Miller, premiered on PBS and PBS World in 2018. The program explored government welfare programs through the eyes of recipients. Filming the 2hr premiere of Shark Week for Discovery (Summer 2019) was a highlight as well. Miller’s passion for people, nature, ideas, and justice drives her storytelling and research, believing that stories craft culture.
Miller is a board member of Women Independent Producers and NY Media Initiative.
